Welcome to Ireland Pay Calculator (the "site", "we", "us", "our"), available at irelandpaycalculator.ie. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the site, including all calculators, articles, guides, and other content we publish.
Please read them carefully. By using the site you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By accessing the site, entering any figures into a calculator, or reading any of our published content, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you are using the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, your only remedy is to stop using the site.
2. The nature of the service
Ireland Pay Calculator publishes free informational tools and articles relating to Irish salary, taxation, redundancy, minimum wage, budgeting and career topics. The site is operated as a free public resource funded by advertising.
The calculators on the site are simplified estimation tools. They take a small number of inputs from you (for example, gross salary, hours, bonus amount) and apply published Irish tax rules to estimate an output figure (for example, net take-home pay). They are not a substitute for a payroll system, an accountant, or guidance from Revenue.
3. No professional advice
Tax law in Ireland is complex and individual. Your real tax position depends on factors we do not โ and cannot โ capture in a simple online tool, including but not limited to:
- Your exact PAYE tax credits and standard rate cut-off point
- Whether you are on a Week 1 / Month 1 basis
- Marital status, joint assessment elections, and dependants
- PRSI class (A, S, K, M, J, P, etc.)
- Benefit-in-kind on company cars, health insurance, or share schemes
- Pension scheme rules, salary sacrifice arrangements, and AVCs
- Non-PAYE income, foreign income, or DIRT
- Mid-year changes of employer, sick leave, or maternity / paternity benefit
For decisions that have real financial consequences โ accepting a redundancy package, negotiating a pay rise, querying an emergency tax refund, or planning a pension contribution โ you should always check the numbers with a qualified professional or directly with Revenue.ie.
4. Accuracy and tax-year rates
We make a genuine effort to keep all rates on the site current and aligned with the most recent published Irish Revenue figures and Budget announcements. However:
- Rates can change at very short notice (for example, in an emergency Budget or supplementary measure)
- Calculators may briefly lag behind a rate change while we publish updates
- Calculators round to the nearest euro and do not model every edge case
- Outputs are estimates and may differ from your actual payslip, P60, Statement of Liability, or Revenue assessment
We provide no warranty, express or implied, that any output of a calculator on this site is correct, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. You should always verify any figure that matters to you against your real payslip or against Revenue's own tools.
5. Permitted use
You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may also link to any page on the site and share screenshots of calculator outputs.
You agree that you will not:
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy content from the site without our written consent
